Trip plan

Day 1

In the morning, take the road to Sherbrooke. Once there, take part in an animated tour and enjoy the stunning multisensory Terra Mutantès show at the Sherbrooke Museum of Nature and Sciences. Project yourself into the heart of the Appalachian Mountains and cross lava fields. You will feel the separation of the continents and the deglaciation, the earth will shake, you will be hot, you will be cold… You will never see the region landscape the same way again! Then head to North Hatley to explore the old Capelton copper mine. Discover the subterranean beauties of the region and let yourself be carried away by the history of this mine dating from 1863. Then, in the evening, take part in activities at Laser Plus Sherbrooke. Try the black light mini-golf and chase your friends through the Laser chase mazes. Action, visuals, adrenaline and fun await! Installation at your hotel in the evening. Meal included: dinner.

Day 2

Your second day in the Townships will take place around Mont-Mégantic, where you will not only be amazed, but where you will live an experience that will make you see the world and life in a whole new way! Located in the heart of the International Dark Sky Reserve, the ASTROLab, the Observatory and the Mont-Mégantic National Park will transport you to a world where the Earth and the stars meet and where the universe reveals its secrets. Make exciting discoveries with the ASTROLab’s exhibits, visit the interior of the Observatory. Also take a free or guided hike to the popular Mont Mégantic. If the sky is clear in the evening, perhaps you will have the chance to admire a starry sky like you’ve never seen! Meals included: breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner.

Day 3

After preparing the luggage, head to Valcourt! At the J. Armand Bombardier Museum of Ingenuity. Gain access to the world of the museum’s eponymous inventor and get to know his life and his work. See his first vehicle built at age 15 and the remarkable collection of Bombardier tracked vehicles. Follow the success of the savvy businessman. Then end your tour of the region at the renowned Zoo de Granby. Visit the African Savannah! Admire rhinos, elephants, giraffes, gazelles… On the trails of Africa, also discover the impressive Hippopotamus River, where you will see these huge mammals swimming underwater. On site, attend presentations by guards and educators. Also enjoy access to the Amazoo Yoplait water park, with the largest wave pool in Quebec. Guaranteed fun! Take the road back to your school at the end of the day. Meals included: Breakfast.
