Trip plan

Day 1

Departure to Val-des-Monts in the morning. Take an underground journey to the largest cave in the famous Canadian Shield, the Laflèche Cavern. Stalactites and stalagmites of ice in winter, geology accessible to all, the cave has many discoveries in store for you. Magnificent nature trails, a visitor center and a picnic area are also available to your student group. Then move to La Pêche and get on board pedal boats. Much more than a simple pedal boat ride, Éco-Odyssée offers you an identification-direction adventure on a water labyrinth using a map and an adventure guide. Fun is guaranteed for all ages! In the evening, compete with your friends in the largest bowling center in the Outaouais at the Anik Bowling Hall. Installation at your hotel at the end of the evening. Meal included: dinner.

Day 2

For this second day, go on an adventure with Les Amis du Parc de la Gatineau. Immerse yourself in diversity! Take the magnificent Mont-King trail (2.5 km) with its rich mosaic of habitats. Then visit the Mackenzie King Estate in the company of a tour guide. Located in the heart of Gatineau Park, this 230 Hectares rural estate includes a museum, cabins and splendid gardens. End the day with an activity at the Altitude Gym climbing center in Gatineau. Students will have to meet challenges by participating in various activities in all areas of the center, especially in the theme park Clip n’Climb, which offers 34 walls with different routes. Meals included: breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner.

Day 3

In the morning, explore more than 1,000 years of the country’s history at the Canadian Museum of History. See the largest indoor collection of totem poles, the First Peoples Hall and the Canadian History Hall, the largest exhibit on Canadian history. Then take the road for one last stop before returning to your school, to Oméga Park in Montebello. This natural site includes the main animals of America like bisons, wolves and bears, living freely in their natural habitat. Visit the Park in an Omega bus, which will allow you to have privileged contact with the animals. Meals included: Breakfast.
