Day 1
Upon arrival in Ottawa, discover the millions of specimens of the natural world that the Canadian Museum of Nature holds. After lunch, learn more about the justice system with a guided tour of the Supreme Court of Canada. An educational and fun way to see how the highest court in the country works! Continue your Ottawa adventure in the lively ByWard Market district. Your taste buds will certainly be delighted in front of so many food counters! Can you resist a famous Beaver Tail? Then head to the must-see Parliament for a tour of the Senate or House of Commons to see where Canada’s parliamentarians make the decisions for the nation. After dinner, have fun in a festive atmosphere at the Anik Bowling Center to end the day well. Meal included: dinner.
Day 2
After a good breakfast, take a guided tour of the official residence of all the governors of Canada since 1867. Visit the ceremonial rooms where dignitaries are welcomed and Canadians are honored. Travel the trails of the Rideau Hall Estate where several trees have been planted by members of the royal family and heads of state. Your escort guide will then show you the best of Ottawa’s assets on an orientation tour and walk through the locks of the Rideau Canal. In the afternoon, discover the world-class collection of the National Gallery of Canada. Then, explore more than 20,000 years of human history at the Canadian Museum of History. Finally, get your dose of horror in the evening with the Ghost Tour of the Haunted Museum of Ottawa. Meals included: breakfast and dinner.
Day 3
Start your day with a walk to see the Rideau Falls at the confluence of the Rideau River and the Ottawa River. Then head to the RCMP stables to meet the riders, admire the horses and browse the stables of the famous carousel. Once this guided tour is over, take off to the Canada Aviation and Space Museum which focuses on Canadian aerospace technologies. In the afternoon, end your trip in Ottawa with a visit to the Canadian War Museum, which chronicles the country’s military history and emphasizes understanding armed conflict. The return to your school is scheduled for the end of the day. Meal included: breakfast.
